This training consists of a theoretical and a practical part. It introduces the motivation for and basic knowledge about factory planning and gives some background information about the parameters that should be considered. Also the interdependencies that exist in a factory are described. Some basic methods for the factory layout design are introduced. In a practical part, the participants are asked to use a certain design method for their company.
